This is my first stop whenever I am in LA. Dulan's has been around for more than 20 years and they have consistently maintained high quality soul food. The Inglewood location now sits in a new building off of Crenshaw and is a little more casual than the original location, but it's still a comfy and welcoming spot whether you sit inside or on the large patio. We ordered the fried chicken, fried fish, collards, red beans (no rice) and Mac and cheese. Everything was delicious, but that Mac and cheese will make you want to slap somebody! Portions are large so we were able to take away a snack for later, which we enjoyed just as much reheated as when served fresh. We also got some peach cobbler to go and it was delight at the end of the night. The service was outstanding and we even chatted with the owner before we left. I cannot wait to go back and get my Dulan's fix!

Dulan's has been in the soul food game forever! This LA Soul King has been operating his good eats since 2001 when we were all listening to Bootylicious, Get Ur Freak On and Hit Em Up Style, iykyk. You can sit in the restaurant or you can grab your eats and go. They even have pre-ordering so everything is set and ready when you pick it up. Fried chicken is plump & juicy with good seasoning, the stuffing may not look pretty but it sure tastes pretty and the cornbread is satisfying. Star of the show for me though: Mac and Cheese. Mac & cheese is one of my essential food groups so I consider myself an aficionado. And I do declare, this some good ish!!! And the portions are huge. Insanely huge. I'll definitely be back. Their smothered chicken is the stuff of legends I hear so I need to get that on my next visit. For my fellow LA Rams fans (fine, chargers, too), Dulan's is an amazing locally owned spot to pop by for some pre or post game eats. It's close and delish! Plus, I saw them on Good Day LA last week---they just got their liquor license!

Delicious! We stopped by here on Sunday afternoon to get some delicious food. We ordered to go and let me say we weren't disappointed. Everything was seasoned to perfection and I definitely loved that hint of vanilla in the candy yams! The fried chicken was cooked to perfection and the Mac n Cheese was good. The corn bread muffins were tasty as well. Definitely will be back to try more stuff. Great customer service... shout out to the lady who was working the window Sunday September 1, 2024 at 4:30.

The food is delicious. As close to home made as you'll get. Now that I'm an empty nester I don't want to take time to cook like this for my self. And every now and then I get a craving. So go online or call in your order and pick up your scrumptious meal, and don't forget the dessert. If you prefer to dine in they have a great location for that near the Forum in Inglewood. ENJOY!

THE AMOUNT OF FOOD THEY PLACE IN THESE PLATES ARE SPECTACULAR!!! We got the oxtail, greens, cornbread and mac and cheese! None of those items disappointed at all!! They were cooked soooooooooo good! The meat fell off the bones, the cornbread was giving moistness, the greens were tasty and the mac and cheese was cheesy!!!! You cannot go wrong with this plate. If your are thinking about trying it, DO IT.... YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT!!!

Dulan's is quickly becoming one of my go-to spots every time I'm back in LA. I can never decide between the baked or fried chicken and fish--they're both amazing! The cornbread muffins, served with soft butter, are absolutely to die for. The sides are fire, and everything tastes like the best home-cooked meal you could ask for. Cooked to order and FRESH! Parking can be hit or miss depending on the time of day, but it's usually pretty easy to snag a spot on the street. Inside seating is a bit limited, so if you're planning to dine in, you might have better luck grabbing a table outside--just be sure it's not too hot! Dulan's is comfort food at its finest, and it's a must-visit whenever I'm in town.

My mother and I wanted to have lunch and we drove by Dulan's and decided to give it a try. We were so happy that we did. The restaurant has recently gone through a remodel. The restaurant offered free valet parking. This was a pleasant surprise, it added a sense of class that I appreciated. We walked into the restaurant and we were immediately greeted by professionally dressed staff. Although I'm not a big fan of ordering at the counter, I don't mind at this restaurant because the staff was very attentive. Now the food came out quickly. It was hot. It was fresh and the flavor was incredible. The chicken was almost falling off the bone tender. The mac & cheese had that crispy cheesy crust. That was also delicious. The greens tasted fresh and they weren't too soggy. They were not overcooked. It was delicious. I don't write a lot of reviews for restaurants, but this restaurant was so good. I had to write a review. Great job!

Hadnt been here in years and came here for a quick lunch before work . My pork chops , sides, and corn bread were all delicious ! Parking was fairly easy and the service was speedy - I'll be back !

After last nights Uber driver took us on a tour and provided us with some places to try we decided to come to Dulan's Soulfood I ordered the fried chicken with Greens and Yams my wife ordered the barbecue chicken with greens and macaroni and cheese, we also split a side of cabbage. The meal comes with two cornbread muffins They bring the cornbread muffins out while you wait for the food to come out. They come wrapped in foil to hold in the heat. The food came out pretty quickly, they weren't super busy on the inside but had a decent line outside. The food was delicious, they have two options the lunch or dinner plate and honestly the portions are so big that I don't see a way for me to do the dinner lol. Overall the restaurant was everything that the driver said and we will definitely be back when we visit again because there are just so many options!
